Kids and Youth Mountain bike coaching in haslemere

My coaching Philosophy

Mountain biking is a free spirited sport. It is about having fun, exploring and experimenting with your friends.

It has never been a better time to be a kid getting into mountain biking. The bikes are amazing now and there are so many more places to ride than when I was getting into mountain biking.

The slight catch is:

Amazing bikes + easily accessible bike parks + Social media normalising crazy stuff

= Slight tendency to run before you can walk and forget most of the famous riders have spent years working on the basics and grass roots racing to hone their skills.

The youth development groups provide guidance and direction to help foster the next generation of riders without taking away the freedom and essence of why the sport is so great. Skills which could take them on to World Cup racing and certainly will foster a passion to enjoy for life.
